Hall of Mogs Addon for WoW Retail

This addon is built for one job: generate a clean Hall of Mogs export code from the look your character is visibly wearing in game.

It is meant to make posting faster and more reliable, especially when you want the site to reflect the actual visible transmog instead of manually filling every slot by hand.

The current public version is v0.1.0 for World of Warcraft Retail.

1. Download the latest addon zip.
2. Extract the archive.
3. Copy the HallOfMogs folder into World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/.
4. Start the game or run /reload.
5. Log into the character whose look you want to export.

1. Set your character up exactly as you want the visible look to appear.
2. Type /hom in the WoW chat box.
3. Copy the generated code from the popup window.
4. Open the post form on Hall of Mogs and paste the code into the transmog code field.
5. Review the detected class, race, and item slots before publishing.

• /hom opens the export window.
• /hallofmogs and /mogcode do the same thing as alternate commands.
• /homdebug is a support command for troubleshooting when an export does not match what is visible in game.

The addon exports the character metadata and visible slot item IDs used by Hall of Mogs, including class, race, body type, armor type, character name, and the main visible gear slots.

It tries to resolve the visible appearance first, then falls back through Blizzard transmog APIs, and only uses equipped item data as a last resort when needed.

If an export looks wrong, run /hom again once the character is fully loaded. If it still does not match, use /homdebug and report the issue through the GitHub repository.

The addon is intentionally small in scope. It is only meant to help you export and post transmogs to Hall of Mogs more quickly.
